Bushies did plot to fabricate a scary reason to rush into Iraq, exploiting our feelings after 9-11. They came up with WMD as the best one to scare us with. Especially nuclear, though Saddam had noa ctive nukes program.

They also added fabricated connections with Al Qaida, and discussed flying phony UN planes over Iraq to try and get Saddam to shoot them down. This is how desperate Bush-Cheney were to rush into Iraq, even without any post-invasion plan.

And you still support these dishonest bozos? Even after they make sure all their pals make millions and billions off the war? Even after they put the whole thing on the national credit card after lying that Iraqi oil would pay for it all?

The two leaders were worried by the lack of hard evidence that Saddam Hussein had broken UN resolutions, though privately they were convinced that he had. According to the memorandum, Mr Bush said: "The US was thinking of flying U2 reconnaissance aircraft with fighter cover over Iraq, painted in UN colours. If Saddam fired on them, he would be in breach."

This what the previous links say...did you read them?
