What I mean is that someone without political stakes should be vetting this information and deciding what really should be classified and what can be released. The releasing, or withholding, of information by those with a political stake seems a bit....asinine to me.

I know this already happens with a small percentage of the information, but shouldn't there be a better way of making our government more transparent?
