hi timmy ...

the shingles are 18" long and from 3
to 12 inches wide, and i'm leaving a
5" exposure.

the shingles we used for the woodshed
were 3rd grade. the ones that we had
put on the veranda were shakes (hand
sawn) and #1 grade. i'll post a picture
of both later tonight. i just finished
the roof today and took a picture of it,
but the lens must have had a thumb print
on it or something cuz it's very fuzzy,
but you'll get the idea. holy cow, i
sure wouldn't want to be a roofer. its
murder on the knees. as i was getting
to the end of it, i kept saying to myself,
rose, its only a wood shed. get with the
program!

i'm sore and tired and tomorrow is my last
day to get organized to fly south - ahhhhh,
some r&r for the next two weeks <g>
