Lefty won the Masters. My prediction of the winning score (-9) was two strokes off..(-7). Lefty had one bogey and that made all the difference - his swing was in total control and his putting stroke flawless. Tiger missed a 10 ft eagle putt and a few other short one which made a difference. Freddy Couples looked as strong as he did in the 1980's. Chad Campbell looked great in the third round hitting his iron shots like Hogan. The last nine today played hard as the course finally dried out. Small herd of guys tied for 2nd and 3rd. Tiger said he was going to call his Dad and was sure he would have some comments for him on his putting. Players had an average of plus 27 holes for the Sunday rounds due to rain delay yesterday. Still a spectacular venue for golf although there was nothing particularly tense about the last three holes like last year. This one after hole 14 was Lefty's to lose. He's now won 3 of the last 9 majors he's played. All the majors are now setting up for some fantastic competition.

One note for us golfers that are longer in the tooth - Ben Crenshaw was -1 after the second round and everyone was speculated what it would take for a 54 year old to win it. Crenshaw wisely smiled in the interviews and enjoyed himself. Tell you what though....he still has the sweetest putting stroke I've ever seen.

That's it for now - hope the sailing was great!
