<<who holds the largest hordes of gold in the world? ... Doesn't India horde lots in the private sector? Who could really sway markets with large sell off?>>

My impression is that, officially, USA officialdom is the largest hoarder, for self and others, and I must figure that India's private sector is also a large holder. Neither is likely to voluntarily sell, until in the former case, deficits forces electorates to eventually vote to disgorge, which imo must inevitably happen at some stage, as had happened in Europe, and for the latter Indian private holders, kingdom comes, when an ounce of gold can buy 1 acre of choice farm land somewhere else in the world, say whenever, eventually, Hawaiian investor status immigration financial bar drops from USD 500,000 down to 16 ounces of gold.

As to who would have an interest for a one-off swaying of the market via an one-time sale of bulk gold, I cannot think of anyone stupid enough to do so ... oops, I just thought of one group :0)
