Orco/ East European real Estate: Funny, I just spent this afternoon checking the certificate Credit Suisse just launched, "East European Real Estate Basket Certificate", trading on the SWX: bigcharts.marketwatch.com It has Orco on it (15%) along with Austrian MEL.VI, IEA.VI and SPI.VI (65% altogether). The 2 Austrian "biggies" MEL.VI and IEA.VI arent that much of pure East European real estate shots (only about 50% each) , but the remaining 20% is alocated onthe very interesting : Echo investment S.A. (ECH, Poland) Raven Russia Ltd (RUS, London) Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC, Poland) Your friend might be interested to look up those 3, Crossy. These are great, pure, highly leveraged ways to play those markets... East European Real Estate boom is around the corner and I think the pure stock plays on it will go just crazy overtime beating the actual brick and mortar holdings by large....
