Humans are flatulent, too, especially if they follow the currently trendy high fiber, low protein diets [not to mention all the vegetarians], and there are lots more of us than there are cows.

Yeah, I like that, blame the highly-flatulent vegetarians, 90% of whom very politically-correctly wring their hands at CO2 emissions while emitting more methane than their meat-eating counterparts.

On the other hand, the meat eaters gotta have cows.

An interesting study, huh, try to find out if the vegetarians produce more methane than the combined methane of cows and meat eating humans.

I suspect there are enormous methane clouds over the East and West coasts, i.e., the blue States, and over vegetarian India.

We need a methane emissions treaty. But which city to name it after? I recommend Bean Town, Boston, which is quite appropriate considering the gassy politicians Mass. produces.

Some free market type will no doubt find a way to sell methane emissions rights to hedge funds. And derivatives are on the way.
