Yeah, those members of SI--some of whom you mentioned--who are part of the 36 percent nationally who still support the president, or who are part of the 20-something percent who still support the vice president, are perfectly happy treating Bush and Cheney like the cop noted below:

>>>Off-duty cop clocked at 99 mph in a 45 zone -- gets a warning, not a ticket

WLOS-TV Channel 13
[Asheville, NC]

April 6, 2006

Fletcher [North Carolina] police officer Adam White stopped Highway Patrol trooper Sergeant Kevin Bray, for allegedly speeding 99 miles per hour down Mills Gap Road on Tuesday.

Sergeant Bray was off-duty and was not driving a state car. He also did not have his driver's license with him.

Following a conversation with the trooper, White did not issue a citation.<<<

Hey, at least the cop got a warning. Congress won't even sign on to Feingold's Censure resolution, which is the equivalent of a "warning."
