Zhu Rongji's pledge is NOTHING but show-business, which can only fool the naive people! His own son has Greatly Benefited from his power! And he has made HUGE amount of money by MBO of China's SOEs. The Bank of China management team under his supervision was the MOST corrupted one in New China's history! Zhu was only busy with Selling China out to the West, he has NOT spent any of his time and energy in fighting corruption! By comparison, look at Hu Jintao's children, very low key, never take any advantage of Hu's power. His daughter was unemployed for several years, not sure whether she has got a job now. >>He can't win that game because the system set up that way. << Not sure which system do you mean? Do you mean China's political system, or legal system? There is NO doubt that the legal system in China is very weak, much weaker than that in the US. Although I don't think China should copy the expensive US legal system at all. As for the political system, the US political system is just as corrupted! The only difference is that the US corruption has been systemized, and has been legalized. This WHOLE US government is in the pocket of Big corporations! Dozens of US congressmen have been jailed! The only clean gov. in the history was Mao ZeDong era's CCP officials, although that lasted only between 1949-1978 BTW, the West loves Zhu Rongji for a reason! Because Zhu's policy is for the interest of the West, NOT for the interest of China.
