Hey pal, I do my own thinking. I'm no party hack. I happen to be a democrat and right now DEms are head and shoulders above the polluted, corrupt GOP, but I was not always against the GOP, nor was I always the least bit interested in the DEmocratic party. Also, I share your dislike of some democrats. I can't stand either the holier-than-thou Lieberman types nor the big-mouthed angry Cynthia McKinney types. But the worst ones of all are on the rightwing side. I will also say this, our country was tragically denied excellent honest leadership in 2004 when Bushies smeared, lied and cheated to beat John Kerry. That was a very costly tragedy for the nation. If Kerry (and/or Gore) had had all their votes counted honestly, they both would have won and both would have avoided or fixed many of the grave problems we face as a nation now. They are both also a lot more bi-partisan than Bush-Cheney which would mean we'd be a much more united nation. Remember how good Clinton was at running a government smart and fair? Kerry would be even better. And now we would be stronger, safer, cleaner and richer.
