Hmm. There was a check box asking if I wanted a response by USPS mail. I checked it to say "yes". Maybe that will help ?

Faxes or letters allegedly carry more weight

Regardless, the most they do is scan them to determine the issue and which side you're on and then increment the appropriate counter. It's a waste of time to put together a thoughtful letter. If you feel compelled to send something, just write "amnesty, against" on a sheet of paper and save your effort. It will have just as much effect.
