Hi BJ:

Looking forward one to three years, I like oil sands and uranium stocks.

OIL Sands: I own BMD, CFK, CLLZF, COSWF, and CWPC.
* BMD mines limestones at the major oil sands area. Limestone is used in oil sands processing. The other limestone miners are hundreds miles away.
* CFK is a supplier of oil sands equipment and service company.
* COSWF.PK is a major oil sands company. It pays good dividends.
* CLLZF.PK and CWPC.OB are junior companies with high potential.

Uranium: I own CCJ, DJEEF, FRG.
* CCJ is a major uranium producer.
* DJEEF.PK and FRG are junior companies with high potential.

Julius

Jim, when you ask for the stocks for the long term, I like to spread holdings with a basket holding of 10 value stocks with the solid low debt balance sheet which pay dividend while still with the growth potential. The prudent investor should re-blance its holding once a year. Sell the basket and buy a new basket. Don't ever look at the performance every day. Just do it once a year. Study found, this method is siginificant out perform the market average.

Right now, I like THO CHRW EXP LOW PCZ DHR AFL FAST UNH UTX.

BTW, Market is making a sharp correction from overbought situation.
