Problem is, this administration has always relied on acts of violence to distract the populace from their egregious incompetence.

When things get tough, blow something up.

9/11, Iraq...

Things have never been tougher for the Bush bunch....

Hello Iran, WMD's...yeah...that's the ticket....

Pretty scary though Tom. What I worry about the most is that bush is half a bubble off to begin with. He is real tired (i know that tiredness when I was fighting huge political battles as state director of alcoholism and then again as state director of EMS both of which were in their formative stqages and the political battles were horrendous.

One gets to a point where they cannot think straight they are so tired. And bush could not think straight to begin with.

Look at bush's eyes. They are real tired. CIA leak case fro example.

Now he is being pushed further and further into a corner and could get real crazy i.e. "never push a paranoid in a corner.

Those guys might do it just to take the heat off. Or for fun-lol. I am not sure where the sanity in the congress is to control bush?

Bush just reached a historic low in approval ratings.

However, I fear that he and his cohort are so insulated from reality that they might decide to go out with a bang, so to speak. Hey, it's in the Bible -- the Last Days the millennarians are waiting for will start in the Middle East.

I once again point to the close parallels between President Ahmedinejad and his sect in Iran on the one hand, and the millenarian right wing Christian sects -- think Pat Robertson -- in the US.
