You are right. I mistook the fact that they didn't jump on the scandal bandwagon as support. They were actually objective.

That Post editorial states just what I've been arguing and I sure didn't think I was "supporting" Bush, just laying out the scenario objectively.

You are right, it's just a surprise coming from the WaPo. If the NYT does it, it will be a shock.
