If McCain is a continuation of Bush, and he's a rightwing ideologically corrupt politico, the country is finished IMO. After all, can we pile on yet another 60%+ to the national debt? Can we spend more on foreign excursions without end? Can we continue to NOT provide healthcare to tens of millions?

We, as a country rightwing or leftwing or confused middle, cannot afford another Bushlike administration and more one party rule. We'll implode inder the weight.

Amazingly, corporate media is actually covering Iraq as a chaotic state with 6 of its provinces in really bad shape and 1 in chaotic shape. Only the Kurds have a peaceful region. Heck, I wonder how long it will be before they decide to seal off their borders and proclaim independence from the mess.

One of Iraq's ministers finally declared that there is a civil war. Kerry had an interesting point:

1. Bush said the goal is some 240K Iraqi security forces. Apparently there are some 230K or something like that supposedly trained up.

2. Bush said when Iraqis stand up, we'll stand down. With nearly as many Iraqi security forces up and running as Bush's goal, why haven't any Americans stood down --- if that's the correct terminology.

3. That's a very good question.
