Shades, there will be abuses of this kind of surveillance. Everybody has different feelings about it. I respect that, and haven't offered any opinion about whether it's good or bad. "Perhaps we need change then - the spooks don't seem to have enough scrutiny of late - who watches the watchers? Meetings of the fed are released 5 years later at least." Perhaps you do need changes. I don't know. "I communicate 99% over the net/voip/digital money etc etc - I assume many others to do - I cannot believe germany had a computer system to monitor and store everything I bought/sold, typed/wrote - germany didn't have nearly the processing power and AI software that we have today you know." Neither did the saboteurs. "So what "technology" do you know about that I can refute what this narusinsight does?" It's an ongoing thing; every move has a countermove. I'm wondering how they monitor encrypted and scrambled stuff - in real time. I'm guessing they can't: the processing demands would be huge. They'd probably have to store it and analyze. But maybe they can. Who knows? Jim
