Kerry has never had multiple positions on anything. Sometimes he has moderate positions. Bushies strategy in 2004 was to lie and call Kerry "the most liberal in the senate and weak on defence" so they had to attack him somehow whenever his positions were common sense moderate. Which they are most of the time, by the way. So they invented this "flip-flop" BS and sadly, some in the media bought it. However, Kerry has always been resolute, not to mention right at least 90% of the time.
