It has done a BEAUTIFUL job of setting off a battle royal among astronomers as to what is and isn't a planet. The problem is that they got a continuum from individual atoms up to huge galactic clusters and any lines they draw are arbitrary and subject to dispute.

And, man, are they disputing this! :-)
