Kerry insisted that only 2% of the remaining enemy in Iraq are al Qaeda" i wonder what he thinks the % was before. does he think the thousands released from prisons all over Iraq by Saddam were not part of the bombings, kidnaping, murders. Were the sunni's fighting from the beginning Al Q. or Iraq's?

Tony Zinni continued his book tour, stating that the U.S. should have run Iraq completely until it was ready to move forward on its own, much like we did with Japan following WW II Isn't that what Bremer tried to do? Isn't that the source of many of the fubars we're dealing with now? Seems to me that was tried, and we're playing catchup getting Iraqis to run Iraq. Derek

Some of the serious Bloggers should call a NationWide Protest protesting the ILLEGAL immigrant protests. It would be hard, because the majority of the TAXPAYERS are working....it seems the protesters are not working...since they are protesting. IF polls mean anything at all, more than 70% of the country is for strengthening the borders FIRST, then monitoring them SECOND, and then doing something about the ILLEGALS that are currently here. We can not do anything yet about the people that are already here, but we can and should, do something to STOP more coming in through our borders NOW.
