It's the Israel far rightwing, not the whole country. Actually the majority of Israelis I've met are tolerant, and most American jews are liberal.

Lieberman turned out to be a real disappointment. Almost as if he was a spy infiltrating Gore's campaign to sabotage it, helping to get Clinton impeached for a personal no-no, then standing with Bush on the rushed unprepared invasion of Iraq.
