GM is bleeding badly but they have enough assets to sell that can keep them afloat.

Look 20 years back:

"Pan Am is bleeding badly but they have enough assets to sell that can keep them afloat."


I am not saying its the best approach. Like I have argued before, GM is one of the worst managed companies in the country because of a calcified management. You would think the Board of Directors would do something substantive but they may be as calcified. Eventually, GM will run out of options and then crater.
