These are the only posts to which I will reply because it is my hope you will change your style and become more polite. I do not think there is anything wrong with being respectful to people with whom you disagree most profoundly. In fact, since it is no effort to be respectful to people with whom you already agree, I would suggest the only test is when you find yourself in heated argument. The best way to be able to talk about subjects that inspire passion, is to keep the personal out of it. This is my opinion. And when I said we wouldn't talk about any other subjects, until you changed, I meant it. I can't force you to change. I can only lay down the ground rules for discussion which I require (and which, I think you can see, have zero to do with substance.) I told you that I would need a good long time to know that your style has changed. Your posts have contained empty promises regarding decorum in the past, and now I must see action. That's all.
