The population of Mass is 6.3M. CNBC quotes a $295 per citizen per month tax to finance this this morning.

This says $250 per month.

There may be a $295 tax on employers. Yet this only reaches $545 assuning an employers pays that amount for all family memebers rather than just the worker. Still a large gap.
