Posting on blogs is not the same as demonstrating in the streets. What you are saying is that corportate dominated capitalism as squelched our freedoms. Maybe thats right and maybe we should not be so upset with french kids or our immigrants from exersising rights that in many cases started here.

I thought you'd attended some of the marches? Weren't you and I talking about that somewhere else? I can't say that I think my marching did much- but maybe it plants the seeds for the folks who are now, at least according to the polls, turning away from Bush and his vision. I think the deficit and the money Iraq is costing have done more than any protest, but then I always figure people are more worried about their pocketbooks than anything else.
