First of all Turkey is not the only player here. IF it splits they may just have to accept it.
Secondly what i was referring to with india/pak analogy was the partition in 1948??. Shiaa will move south and sunnis north. Shiaa wont like that at all because some of the holy places fall in your secular state.
Your idea is interesting but wont fly. Three state with indy kurdistan is more likely and will lead to sunnistine in the center. Shiaa and sunni may even fight for control of captital bagdad much like jerusalem.
