I know not all the vineyards are on the map. This one I had to backtrack on google. Saw it come on the market a few months ago. I think the most northern commercial planting in the county; a few hills north of me. $29 a bottle, for untested wine. I imagine it would be fairly intense, since the growing season is. Most of the vineyards are either towards the coast, or in the area from the hospital south; south until you hit the wine country of Sonoma. Parts get to look like the wine country I see during the Tour d'France.

Gets really pretty. Closest you can get to an east coast fall is to travel thru the vineyards in the fall. Lie on your back if you want to feel like you are in a forest. Smoke dope if you want to generate ideers like that.

I think the rains are probably bad right now. Too soggy to get in the vineyards. Probably sets up diseases, too, and they can't get in to spray. (Mixed blessing, but I don't make my living growing grapes). Some are even organic.I'm guessing it may also push back the ripening season enuf that it could give them problems with fall rains.
Wine related people everywhere. Several hospital people are either family, or married to the winemaker.
