I think CH wants to show the potential of the rev stream that this "growth machine" can generate down the road, also I know he thinks the company would command a higher pps if it reaches cf+. All this is MO, I actually know very little about what really is going on behind the doors at covad. Covad has a lot of pieces of the puzzle now, voip, wifi, dsl, voic/data, national footprint, and a couple decent customers and a $2.40 stock price. Think about that. It just needs to meld all of these and execute a plan to actually make money. It appears this is going to happen. Should the CC be a real positive one, look for a daily move that exceeds well more then $1 shortly . Personally, I think 5 is just a matter of a short time and, 7 is a possiblity by year end. Should buy out pressure mount post the CF+ Q, I think (dare I mention it?) double digits could happen in 07. That is how I see it. All this could change if they pull a classic covad move and not deliver what is expected. (doubtful) I think CH and co has the message now. Do what you say and the street will get behind you. Remember, the stock is still considered a "penny" stock by many. A very large percentage of people refuse to even LOOK or consider a stock below 5. Once we clear this "mental hurttle" (and perhaps get back on naz) The success story will be played out in the meadia. (Even tody we rarely hear covad mentioned in regard to voip/telecom/anything, this needs to change.) Again, once we get above 5 on MO, I think you will see more funds step into it for the longer period and tie up some shares that are being daytraded now. This stock is really going some place, it has direction. I wish I had the balls to bet the ranch but I don't. (I have a healthy position though)
