That's total BS. Enderle's a reptile who bashed Sun and kissed Microsoft's ass on a daily basis in the late 90's right up until it became clear that, rightly or wrongly, a lot of money was being made on Sun stock. Then he changed his tune...for a while. In the Inquirer they called him a "rent-a-quote man" or something like that. For years he was the go-to guy for the financial press whenever they needed a quote about how great Microsoft was. He was a little like one of those phony movie pseudo-critics that Hollywood used to quote in ads for crappy films before they were found out and had to stop. Some of those guys would get paid to give out multiple "rave" quotes for the same terrible film under the names of different nonexistent critics. The difference was that Enderle was only quoted as himself...as far as the world knows. I wouldn't trust Enderle as far as I could throw him. That doesn't mean he's wrong in this particular case...it's easy to bash Sun now, anybody can do it. In fact, anybody should. --QS
