Cyprian, the world does not know or understand the indwelling of The Holy Spirit or the personal relationship that is given to those who receive the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. Our one true God who is triune, is made up of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. When Christ was resurrected, he left us with His Spirit. The Spirit comforts me and gives me inspiration. Even if circumstances in my life seem contrary to God's will I remain faithful, knowing that His will for me is better than anything I could dream up. That is why my personal relationship with God, Christ or the Holy Spirit (one and the same)is a loving, trusting, and all guiding friendship that directs my will and my life.

13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you."
John 16:

11 "And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them."
Mark 4:

I can only say those who have not The Spirit of God understand not the things of the Spirit.

Santiago

"Just how does one tell if they have a "personal relationship" with Christ, and not an "impersonal" one?"

Hmmm, did you not know before you even asked? ~{:o)
