Since the modus operandi for why we are in Iraq has changed a few times one it's components has been to protect us from terrorists attacks by taking the WAR ON TERROR to them on their Terra firma

Therefore, I would conclude that it is quite possible that another attack on our homeland would just add to the fabrications that we have been swallowing and diminish rather than enhance Bush's points.
