>>>Who is paying out the money? Enron doesn't have that kind of dough.<<<

I don't know, it just came in the mail. Maybe it fell out of a helicopter. Anything is possible nowadays. Angel feathers from Paradise.

I had not been following USU very closely, but this is what I was afraid would have to happen.

USEC Board Votes to End Dividend Payments

USEC's Board Votes to Discontinue Dividend to Pay for Uranium Enrichment Plant

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) -- Uranium processor USEC Inc. said Wednesday its board voted to discontinue dividend payments to help fund the construction of its American Centrifuge Plant between 2007 and 2011.
The company said it doesn't plan to pay the dividend until the uranium enrichment plant is complete.

USEC said the dividend requirement for the next five years is estimated at nearly $250 million, and added it believes the funds will be better used by investing in the plant and reducing the need for external financing.

"USEC expects to have good financial results in 2006, but the board is taking a longer term view of our capital requirements. We know the cost of deploying the American Centrifuge technology will be significant," said Chairman James R. Mellor in a statement.

The company last paid a quarterly dividend of 13.75 cents on Dec. 15, its 29th consecutive distribution since its initial public offering in 1998.

KT,

BGT is investing in floating rate bonds worldwide. Is it a good investment when rate is rising? What's the meaning of floating rate? Thanks!
