GZ, that works both ways. Why was Saddam more of a threat than North Korea? While he was "acting" like he was hiding something, we had no fly zones in place, his military had been whacked to pieces after 1991. The imminence of the threat still has to be taken into account. How imminent was it? The image put forth by the administration of mushroom clouds over our cities and 45 minutes to (pardon the pun) Ground Zero, were designed to force the sense of urgency.

There were many who felt we did not have to move with the speed undertaken? Many within the government. All the "smoking gun" proof of the urgency turned out to be flawed...some just plain false, some exaggerated. The process needs to be examined before the next crisis (or claimed crisis) is dealt with.

Under you theory we gotta go into Iran tomorrow, right? They are sure acting like they got something? Or are other methods to be followed and exhausted?

I don't buy the fact that the millions of Americans who had graver doubts about going into Iraq when we did and for the stated reasons we went in should now just say, "Well...he maybe could have been a real threat".

The system needs to be examined. Not just this administration..all administrations.

O'Reilly makes a living second guessing. With the domestic enemy, it's just the hope that something will accidentally stick to the wall...
