You say we had to move "when we did"...unless you want to sell me on Saddam being a partner with Osama, there was no necessity to move when we did. There was no imminent threat.....and despite all the efforts of the conservatives to say that he could have buried the WMD or moved it to Syria...we are still waiting for the proof of the immediate threat.

As for Monday morning quarterbacking...I am complaining about hte process that was followed. If you read my posts you will see it is the decision process, the failure to listen to experts within the administration, the so-called "cherry picking" of intelligence that suited a pre-conceived course of action..that I object to. Back in 2003 I did not like the military option...I certainly felt Mr. Bush knew more than I did, but I wasn't convinced it was time to go in. So if Monday Morning quarterbacking means I have changed position after the fact, I disagree.

that same process of determining how critical a threat a nation is to us is in some form is underway right now regarding Iran. They, too, are breaching U.N. positions....

So how do we determine how imminent the threat really is? Listen to all experts..or work towarda pre-conceived notion (whatever that may be)? I hope for the former.
