Nothing new here - unfortunately. Lomborg was also fired by the Danish Global Warming lobby. Just strange that while than so called industry caused CO2 emission increased steeply between 1940 - 1970, global temperatures fell significantly. At that time the alarmist lobby was pushing the idea, that unless something radically was done - read major investments in preventive programs - we would face new glacial times soon routing the old world into oblivion.
