hello shades, on iran, (i) the apparent danger is that they are getting closer to being nuke war capable, (ii) the problem is that iranians in aggregate support the regime, (iii) the issue is that iran seem to have it in for israel and israel's allies, (iv) the complication is that iran accounts for some amount of oil production/reserve, and (v) the detail is that iran may not be a pushover.

several generic but extreme outcomes are possible, (1) regional nuke war eventually, (2) pre-emptive nuke war now, (3) israel changes policy towards its neighbors, (4) usa changes its policy towards israel.

what is your bet, and do you have oil sand? uranium? silver? and gold?
