He has vetoed a lot more legislation than Bush Bush has to compromise in order to save the state of Maryland from Al Qaida. He is merely doing what we demand because we're "Mad as Hell and we're not going to take it anymore." What the people demand is not what you think. They're just mad at the past long tradition of socialistic solutions, and they will put a lot more of them in place in response to their anger. Maybe you should go a few rounds with her so you can bring out her true capitalist nature. She observes a few specifics, reads some media blurb, generalizes that into pure nonsense. Sounds typical of what I get on this thread every day.
