Well that is who always pays.

True, but that's not what people choose to think.

The top income quintile that the left is always going after to pay their fair share is typically a two income household where both the husband and wife have a collective gross income that starts at $132k.

I'm at war against that left. For the people. For the people!

The theory is that the way things are now, they're already paying for those who are free riders on the system so the new mandatory insurance will lower their private health insurance expense by moving the free riders into subsidized government services.

I'm going to crush all these arguments just like Betsy McCaughey has been doing.

No where in the history of government interference has the demand for subsidized services fallen in the face of increasing the supply of those services. It's like feeding a stray cat so it will go away.

That's why the only thing that will get the deficit down is to lower taxes. You have to lower the quantity of the means available.
