Either way it's all small pototoes stuff. Geezus.. I guess you expect intelligence analysts to be all-knowing... Hell, if we knew everything about the enemy, we wouldn't need intelligence, now would we?? Apparently liberals are any better.. They can't seem to muster a viable military strategy that doesn't involve advancing to the rear.. Just in case that wasn't your point let me give you another shot at it. What moral right does the US have to make Iraq the Central Front on the War on Terror? The Iraqi people didn't volunteer to have their country be the battleground of the GWOT. And I'll ask you the same thing about the Afghan people who were suffering under the Taliban.. They were victims too.. Yet, many Afghanis died during our operations to overthrow the Taliban. What moral right did we have to kill thousands of French people (unintentionally, of course) during our bombing raids in WWII? What moral right did we have to fire-bomb Japanese and German cities when most of the women and children weren't picking up rifles to shoot at us.. You're trying to apply moral values to an immoral state of human existence, war... We engage in war when diplomacy has failed to generate the required change.. I think you believe we should conduct war like we conduct internal police operations, where only the guilty parties are arrested and tried.. (or shot).. And that's just too delusional a belief to warrant any further discussion.. But if you think you can walk right into Iraq or even Iran and arrest those people who are conducting terrorism against us, be my guest... Just make sure you don't infringe upon any innocent person's rights.. ok?? Hawk
