I grew up in central PA.....strip mines everywhere.....reclamation was bullshit.....all that was done was leveling of the yellow clay and stone.......it's been 40 years since some of the area I used to shoot on had been stripped and they still have the look of a war zone......

One would think the top soil could have been set aside and reused....but no.
