Iraq was a pretty decent country to live in before we began bombing it, despite a lack of domestic political freedom. Then it became very, very poor, but we weren't satisfied with that, so we invaded and made it the worst country in the world.

These are indisputable facts and they are crucial to any discussion of Iraq, but not one person in the media will acknowledge them.

Bush has freed Baghdad. They can vote. They just can't go outside their homes, turn on a lightbulb or drive their car.
