Hello Pezz, Today's Report:

On two of many possible futures, and whatever happens, by whatever path, we must do our sacred duty ... worldmarket.blogspot.com ... and time the market :0)

Hello Pezz, Today's Report: Before departing on return trip to HK I put Internet-enabled account on auto-pilot, and now, at home, discover that two out of many trades were executed while I was on the airplane:

Purchased ...
(a) a tranche of HK Stock Exchange finance.yahoo.com at HKD 58/share

(b) a tranche of PetroChina finance.yahoo.com at HKD 9/shr

I am bullish on China, now that the officialdom will focus on rural development, which if half successful, will prove more robust than what went on in the past 10-15 years, and if not, we got nothing to worry about.

Should India be actually on the same growth curve as China, which may well be the case, then all the better.

I am bullish on commodities even at current prices.

I also swapped more USD into CAD.

Hello Pezz, Report from the Arena:

Deliberately bought more Suncor Energy finance.yahoo.com for its sand, at USD 89.20

Panic bought finance.yahoo.com at USD 123.31 just to get away from more Dollars

I watched everything in commodity space going up, accelerating to escape velocity, and interestingly, for the week as opposed to for a whole lot of years, gold has made double digit gains for two trading sessions.

I suspect that, eventually, gold will make triple digit daily moves, in both directions, and yet, percentage wise, merely trading in a tight daily band :0)

At some point gold could make a 30-50% correction. Wall of worry to keep folks shy.

Gold, shiny, winking, warm to the touch, useless, without correct price, difficult to handle, troublesome to house, is fulfilling its destiny as intended, since the time zero (could have been talking about wifes :0)

Comment: inflation adjusted, gold, silver and oil is still way undervalued, especially against DOW/Nasdaq and particularly housing.
