The sad part of all of this is this war has become so Politicized, thanks to the likes of the Democratic Leaders that even retired Generals feel they have to speak out against our country's leadership and leftist media fawn on them for doing so. This may result in our leaving before the job is don and made the loss of life, limb and treasury all for not. Frankly, I dont think our grand republic is going to last that much longer. Our Congress is frozen in inaction, unable to compromise, good people are avoiding politics as it has so much rancor today, the final days are ticking away. At least I was able to live through the good times. jdn

All have had dozens of occasions to personally hear Secretary Rumsfeld. The below description is 100% in line with my estimate of Secretary Rumsfeld. I have dealt with the CEO's of may fortune 500 to 100 companies. Secretary Rumsfeld is in the set of the very best. There are always underling whiners. Six or sixty cannot undo the dozens of times I have Secretary Rumsfeld speak with clarity and purpose and give exceptional rhyme and reason to what, why and how America's military are doing today's jobs well and preparing for tommorow as well.

"Dealing with Secretary Rumsfeld is like dealing with a CEO," he told CNN. "When you walk in to him, you've got to be prepared. You've got to know what you're talking about. If you don't, you're summarily dismissed. But that's the way it is, and he's effective."

"he should be held accountable for the chaos" is the kind of fecal comments that come from an asshole.
