The first thing to do IMMEDIATELY is SECURE the borders. Same time, make sure we have people or drones to help with the Security!!! Then decide how many LEGALS should be coming in and what type of education we need them to have. Why should we take in the poorest of the poor, or that don't speak English, etc. One further thought on this point. Heard something on the radio that might be part of the reason that various illnesses' are making a comeback...i.e. polio...mumps...etc. How many of these people are coming in with immunizations from childhood, and proof of that? Remember in the old days of Ellis Island, many many people were made to stay in Ellis Island, until they were cleared and determined to be free of any illness...If they weren't cleared, they were deported back to their original countries.
