You seem unaware of the concept of diminishing returns. Can't tell you the times I've heard it said that all our troops should have stayed in Afghanistan, or wherever (where indeed? Iran? Quite possibly Iran is where he's been, you know?), instead of Iraq, to hunt Osama. I think it's funny, and a stupid plan. Yes, I favored action in Iran before Iraq, but not just to hunt for Osama (and of course, we have reports that Al Qaeda members indeed passed through and/or may have stayed in Iran). Perhaps more so than Saddam (if not too terribly much more), the current President of Iran has much in common with Al Qaeda's desires.
