In normal society (as thinly civilized as it ACTUALLY is), the "good" far outnumber those whom are "banned from the premises" or from the services--or from some other right of "we". However, in the little totalitarian subculture that you, Baker, and others create and urge--"they" are being handcuffed and discriminated against through personal caprice, hostility, and supercilious haughtiness. And the "they" number 24 citizens on Bakers VFTC thread alone. This is the reverse of what is natural and normal--when human dignity and rights are the fundaments. It is ugly, IMO. And it is the sort of prejudice that ought to be challenged if society is not to become insensitive to such totalitarianism. First we become insensitive, then tolerant, and finally embracing of such prejudice.COMMUNITY of SI to weigh in for or against ANY question being examined here--whether personal or public.correction...this is the way a DEMOCRATIC society grounded in human rights and dignity works.
