I think you'll find that patent sharing agreement to be one-way. Also, Intel won't adopt HTT b/c it isn't robust enough. CSI will be very robust, nowhere near a copy of HTT.

I believe the patent-sharing agreement between Intel and AMD only covers CPU issues, and does not extend to external device interconnect. Thus, cHT and Intel's bus designs are outside the coverage.
