JF, BTW, it's not "get the employer", it's "enforce the law". The "employer" is fine if he obeys the law, and 99.9% would. Your assumption is that as long as we enforce the law on the employers, we won't have to enforce the law on the illegal immigrants. I don't agree. There will be many, many employers who will still prefer to take their chances with illegals. You'd have to compensate by making the penalties so harsh that it borders on the ridiculous. And for what? Hiring someone "undocumented" guy who's willing to work for real cheap? Tenchusatsu
