Wrong...on Unchristian one.

You can't toss me in with your perverted view of how "everyone" felt Saddam was an imminent danger. I didn't. I don't think the thousands of people who were marching before the military action did either. You are dead wrong in saying "everyone felt this" so we are all responsible.

Sorry, can't take my share of the blame. I didn't buy it.

I thought (still do) that North Korea was a serious threat. I thought (still think) that Iran is a serious threat. Were they an "axis of evil" Heck no! (Who writes that stuff for Bush, anyway). What "axis". Should we invade those two? No.....I think other means are more appropriate.

It is so convenient to say "everyone thought" Well, some of us didn't and still don't.

As for violating U.N. sanctions. How long had this been going on??? He started violating them the day after they were signed. It's a matter of degree...

If you want to claim that the Iraqi adventure was justified because of humanitarian concerns, fine. You can back into that justification. But remember we were told that there was an imminent threat....Plenty of statements by Bush, Cheney and Runny on that count. And it was not true. No matter what else you may want to buy into....in 2003 Iraq was not an imminent threat to the welfare of the United States. No more than Sudan. No more than Jordan. No more than Pakistan. No more than Saudi Arabia.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. This is George W. Bush's war. He will eventually be lauded for it or castigated for it. We are not "all responsible" for it.
