Computation group was up 73% (1299 vs. 750). That's a pretty fair growth rate for a company that was flirting with bankruptcy a couple of years ago. They've achieved this while running the business on fumes - they had to lay off 15% of their employees in 2003. Now they've expanded all of their development programs, have multiple design teams in place, and $2.6 Billion in cash - almost half a year's revenues. Most important, they are tripling their FAB capacity, making them a real competitor for the first time.

It'll be interesting to see how Intel and Intel's CPU group has been doing - I guess we'll find out when Intel holds their conference call.

Cramer seems pretty confident that it's not going to be a great call for Intel.
