this takes a real bite at the illegal immigration problem. First new law I've seen.

In my area the emergency rooms have been jammed with illegals and closing, because of lack of funds. The ER's have claimed the illegals are bankrupting them. If you're hurt, it can take hours to get to a physician.

they're supposed to put you at the head of the line if you're having a heart attack, but I've heard stories where it was still a wait.

Part of the problem is the closures and increasing lack of ER's.

I like this idea allot. And as for those who cannot produce a birth cert or passport........let's have a 20 year exemption for anyone over a certain age to allow for home births that took place in the 20th century. So by 2026 there won't be any excuse since birth certificates have been standard for quite some time (I bet you know more about that than most) whether one is born at home or in a hospital. There has to be a way to enforce this law without harming real U.S. citizens. I think it's certainly worth trying.
